How do swaps work?
Make an offer to swap one or more of your items from your inventory; once accepted, you proceed through a guided, secure flow. You can ship via tracked delivery or use suggested swap points; in‑person meets are a last resort with safety tips.
What is Buyer Protection?
Buyer Protection applies automatically to all monetary transactions for a small fee. Your payment is held securely until completion, and you’re covered if the item never arrives, is damaged in transit, or is significantly not as described-issues should be reported within 2 days of delivery.
What is Swapper Protection?
For trades valued over £30 it is mandatory (and optional <£30), adding a protection fee to the swap. Both items are first shipped to Swopsee HQ for verification; we forward them only after both are received, otherwise items are returned and a review is conducted.
What are SwopCreds?
SwopCreds are credits that boost listing visibility within the marketplace to help drive faster results. You earn them by completing positive actions (like proof photos and reviews) and they can be purchased in bundles.
Are there fees?
Browsing is free and basic swapping has no platform fee. Buyer Protection and Swapper Protection include small fees to cover secure handling and support.
